  Humanise And Reconnect

We believe that the homeless must be given a different face and Face Homelessness is striving to do that. Words such as “potential,” “talent,” or “honors,” are not often associated with the homeless.  We intend show that these words are fitting for EVERYONE with the countless documentation; even the most reluctant critics will be convinced.  If you are still skeptical, visit the Talent link and see for yourself.

What Al Gore has managed to do for the plight of Global Warming, we are striving to do for Homelessness.  Prior to An Inconvenient Truth, many documentaries, reports and scientific studies had been conducted in attempt to warn people about the climate crisis.  However, it was not until Al Gore’s documentary that people took responsibility and started to act, rather than wait to be acted upon by government or nature itself.  Al Gore found a way to inspire people on a global scale by documenting his path, raising awareness and giving people ideas of how to help change the crisis of Global Warming.

The spirit of Face Homelessness will be the multi episodic TV- Series that documents the journey of six young homeless trying to fulfill their dreams.  They are the ultimate underdogs trying to achieve what can often seem like the impossible.  Our project will not just follow these six individuals but will also create a growing online database for you to consult, with thousands of homeless individuals’ stories, dreams, and ways to help them achieve those dreams.  Through each person’s story, individuals can see the ‘human’ side to those living on the streets, and reconnect with those who struggling to achieve their dreams as well.

Our aim is to inspire people to take responsibility and reduce the numbers of those without a home.  We want to collaborate with several charities that tackle homelessness.  One of them is PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) which provides a One-Stop-Shop for the Homeless, helping them reintegrate in society.  Our TV Series indirectly documents the charities' efforts and helps publicize their cause as well.
