Face Homelessness strives to change the face of the homeless by emotionally connecting the public with the less fortunate through their personal stories. By humanizing each homeless individual, we are striving to show the infinite potential and talent of every human being. The heart of our project is the creation of a public online database that collects and reveals every story, every challenge and every dream of each homeless personality, as well as provide the public with an idea of "how to help" each individual realize and achieve their full potential. The TV Series we are creating will only be possible through the accounts collected on our website. The series is the first project of the "Face Homelessness Foundation," the proposed Non-Profit arm of Film Cartel Entertainment. Its primary focus is to effectively raise awareness about homelessness. Raising awareness is nothing new. By itself, knowledge creates an understanding for change. THAT’S NOT ENOUGH! Face Homelessness strives to make that change as well. The TV Series seeks to interest, teach, communicate, integrate and most importantly, INSPIRE people to go beyond simple awareness. As a result of connecting with each individual through their personal stories, everyone can become active in combating this epidemic without having to give “too much time.” Face Homelessness creates a platform that allows you to personally and actively participate within your own comfort zone, take responsibility and connect on a human level with the homeless.
